About Us
Our Dogs Are Waiting To Go Home!
If you are considering adopting a dog from Indigo's Rescue Ranch,
we recommend:
- Discuss adopting a dog with all members of your family.
- Consider the financial requirements of properly caring for an animal.
- If you are renting your home, obtain your landlord's permission to bring an animal onto the property. The number one reason cited for pet surrender at shelters is landlord issues.

At Indigo's Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary, our mission is to provide a safe haven for abandoned and abused animals. We strive to find loving homes for every animal in our care, ensuring they receive the compassion they deserve.
A Winning Team
Indigos Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide care, shelter, fostering opportunities and adoptive homes for Jackson County’s homeless dogs until such time as we can find them a suitable “forever home.” Regardless of breed, size or age, we accept dogs into our shelter and ensure they have safe and happy lives while we seek suitable homes for them. We believe so strongly in our mission, that where hard to place dogs are concerned (e.g., older, disabled or special needs dogs), Indigo’s becomes their forever home so they may live out their lives with the love, care, and attention they deserve.
Our History
Seeing a need to support our community's animals, we formed Indigo's to provide sensible solutions. We've grown considerably since then, and continue to grow, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
